That setup brings back so many memories! Seeing the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 on your list really takes me back to the mid-2000s when that chip was the absolute sweet spot for performance. I remember building a very similar rig when Windows Vista Ultimate first launched; it felt like such a massive leap forward at the time, especially with high-performance RAM like the Crucial Ballistix you're running.
I actually kept a similar legacy machine running for quite a while to handle my home telephony and networking experiments. Because it had a solid motherboard like your MSI 975X, it was incredibly stable for running early VoIP software and managing a small fleet of IP phones. I even used some older phone accessories —specifically some USB-to-analog adapters—that were notoriously finicky with drivers on newer hardware but worked perfectly on these older builds. It’s funny how a "retired" PC can often find a second life as a dedicated network hub or a PBX server for home testing.
Do you still have this rig operational for any specific legacy tasks, or is it more of a nostalgic hardware collection for you now?

Good Morning, I am just starting out on my powershell journey and used:

get-aduser -filter * -Properties * | select Name, SamAccountName, UserPrincipalName, LastLogonDate, Created, POBox, Enabled | export-csv -path "C:\Niall\reports\ADproperties.csv"

However I don't appear to be getting all users, any idea why?

Eight years after, this is the solution from the past that solved a big problem. Year is 2022, Exchange is now version 2019 (15.2 986.5) but this problem remains unsolved. A blast from the past that solved a 40h problem with a lotta googling. Kudos to you, sir.

Hi Kris, I did the trick by resolving all the active alerts related to the stuck policy. Once they have been resolved the deletion has been completed without problems.

Sorry to hear that you cant get it working. Other people have commented below that its working. From your error it looks like you are running it with Exchange Online. This article is for Exchange On-Prem. It was written 5 years ago.

I'm struggling to get this working, Reg key is in place. 8 hours waited and nothing. I used processmonitor to debug the reg key entry and the OneDrive process and i'm getting no errors. Any other debugging methods recommended?

Hey mate, did you have any luck with this setup?
I created a policy per team library, but they conflict with each other.
Then I created a single policy mapping all my team libraries, expecting that SharePoin/AAD groups would manage the access, but I had mixed results, not all the allowed libraries were mapped to TestUser-1, None of the configured libraries were mapped to TestUser-2.
It would be great to heare your experience.

Mate, you're an absolute gem! I was looking for ages on this issue, literally pulling hairs out of my head. Microsoft are absolute pillocks when it comes to documentation:
First : the admx settings say nothing about converting the copy ID string using ps_> [uri]::UnescapeDataString("Copied String"), so I was fighting that for a while.
Second: Why on earth have they enforced this totally arbitrary and unworkable 8 hour delay!!!! STUPID STUPID MS
Customers pay out the nose for Intune only to be hampered by ridiculous configuration quirks that break the whole setup. Hey MS, here's an idea...
How about putting both of the above into the admx desc. since they are absolutely crucial to the functionality!!!
Seriously HOW are these mistakes made / overlooked and more importantly, there are posts going back on this for over a year so why do things like this never get corrected!!!
I guess GATES is too busy stuffing more money into his pockets instead of paying the right money for proper development.

I deployed and tested this on many machines and it works a treat.
FYI, I don't normally rant but considering testing this required waiting waiting waiting (8 frigging hours!!) and numerous logon / logoff attempts using various tenancies, made this an especially annoying issue to deal with.
